ENGIE is a leading energy provider in Belgium, active in electricity production, energy supply, and innovative energy services. They had been exploring AI extensively, both internally and in customer-facing applications. But as their efforts grew, so did a key question: “How can we scale this further?” That’s when Humain joined the journey.
We partnered with ENGIE to conduct a comprehensive AI Scalability Assessment, evaluating their readiness to scale AI initiatives across critical dimensions: strategy, technology, data, people, and governance. Through a series of in-depth interviews, we provided ENGIE with actionable recommendations to enhance their AI initiatives and maximise the potential of (Gen)AI in driving their strategic goals.
We put together a list of recommendations and insights, focusing on all those critical dimensions. We also evaluated existing AI use cases and offered recommendations to simplify more challenging initiatives, breaking them into smaller, manageable projects. This approach increases the likelihood of success, accelerates momentum, and ensures incremental value delivery.
Humain remains actively involved in ENGIE’s AI journey. We are supporting ENGIE in establishing governance structures to ensure consistent oversight, alignment with strategic goals, and successful implementation of AI initiatives. Through this continued collaboration, we aim to help ENGIE create sustainable success with AI, ensuring every initiative contributes meaningfully to their long-term vision.
